CE MARKING AND
APPROVAL FOR WELDING CONSUMABLES
CE marking gives you
the warranty that the goods are delivered within traceability and quality
system that is witnessed by a notified body and confirms to the latest European
standards (EN 13479). The CPD / CPR number enables the notified bodies
to trace the final source of the product to make sure that the whole supply
chain is controlled and full fills the latest EN rules.
To get through ISO:3834 audit it is mandatory to have electrode with CE marked and plates with dual certification in India.
CE marking states that the electrode manufacturer is certified to do self-certification of an electrode to the requirement of code.
and the funny thing is prices are the same either you buy with or without the mark ( NOT APPLICABLE TO ALL SUPPLIER).
